The automobile world is full of enthusiasts, whether they're millionaires or average joes, and car manufacturers are quick to oblige with a variety of limited-production models for every price range. While we'll always love admiring a special edition Aston Martin from afar, there's nothing like finding a rare ride that's actually attainable, and perhaps even scooping one up. Here are 10 limited edition cars the wealthy are splurging on and 10 affordable rarities that are just as cool.

1. Boat Tail Rolls-Royce

Rolls-Royce is the pinnacle of luxury automobiles with only the elite of the elite owning one. The boat tail Rolls-Royce, notable for its two-toned exterior and complete with a "hosting suite," which includes a champagne fridge and sunshade, is even more special and exclusive. Only three boat tails were created and they were sold for around $28 million each.

2. Porsche 60-Year 911 Coupe

Porsche celebrated its 60th anniversary with a truly wonderful special edition car 911 coupe. With its manual transmission, lightweight body, and agile responsiveness, this car was created with true driving enthusiasts in mind. The company made exactly 1,963 of them (1963 being Porsche's birth year).

3. Bugatti La Voiture Noire

If you're ever lucky enough to glimpse a Bugatti La Voiture Noire, it'll make your yed turn so much that you might hurt your neck. It's an absolute stunner of a car with an accentuated nose and elegant silhouette, but it's also a powerhouse of performance with 1,500 horsepower in each wheel. Only 10 of these babies were made and they fetch around $18 million a pop.

4. Mercedes Maybach Exelero

The Mercedes Maybach Exelero is immediately recognizable for its unique, elegant, and aerodynamic body with its long hood and chrome grille. It's the product of a collaboration between Maybach and the German tire company, Fulda. Only one was ever made and it was owned by rapper Jay-Z.

5. Cadillac CT4-V 20th Anniversary Blackwing Mondrian

The CT4-V Blackwing Mondrian Editions are a series of three distinct limited edition models (Arrival, Impact, and Elevation), commemorating Cadillac's 20th anniversary. Each model honors a different generation of V-Series Cadillacs and only 66 units of each were made. They're priced at around $70,000 to $100,000.

6. BMW M340i Sedan

The BMW M340i Sedan straddles the worlds of luxury and sport. It's an all-wheel drive with a powerful engine, and amazing traction but can can also feel smooth and luxurious to drive. Its distinct Shadowline finish features glossy black on the rims and grille and black chrome on the exhaust. 340 units of this car were made and they cost around $80,000.

7. Aston Martin Valour

It doesn't matter what model, Aston Martins scream wealth. However, limited edition Astons are on another level entirely. The Valour boasts a full carbon body, honeycomb alloy wheels, a design that's reminiscent of the 1970s, and a price tag of over $1 million.

8. Bentley Edition 8

Bentley released the Edition 8 as its very last pure V-8 engine car before its transition to hybrid and electric power. The price for these limited edition Bentleys ranges from $270,000 to $285,000.

9. Bugatti Divo

The Bugatti Divo is one of the lightest and highest-performing Bugattis ever made. Only 40 units were ever built. It fetched almost $6 million when it first came out, but today, because of its rarity, the value has appreciated to $11 million.

10. Rolls-Royce Phantom Extended Series II

The Phantom Extended Series II takes the already well-established luxury of a Rolls-Royce to the next level, incorporating a privacy suite, art gallery, and lighting system that mimics the night sky. This car goes for around $800,000.

1. Citroën C2 By Loeb

Sébastien Loeb is one of the most legendary rally drivers ever. He made a name for himself racing a Citroën so it only makes sense that the company wanted to capitalize on his success and create a Loeb edition of the C2 which is zippier than the standard, comes in only red or black, has a sportier exterior, and an updated interior. You can find them on the used market for only around $2,000.

2. Fiat Stilo By Michael Schumacher

As one of only two drivers to win the F1 championship seven times, Michael Schumacher is one of the most iconic names in racing. Fiat designed this special edition Stilo to celebrate his fifth consecutive championship win. It came exclusively in Ferrari red, was designed with a more aggressive body, lower and stiffer suspension, louder exhaust, and only 3,500 were made. Despite its rarity, you can find this car for around $3,000 on the used market.

3. Toyota Celica GT4 Carlos Sainz Edition

Carlos Sainz is a two-time world rally champion who found success driving Toyotas. The company released this special edition of the Celica, which came with more power, upgraded suspension, water cooling, and a shortened throw shifter, directly following his second win. Only 5,000 of them were ever made and they go for around $20,000 on the used market.

4. Infiniti FX50S Sebastian Vettel Edition

When Sebastian Vettel was dominating Formula One for Red Bull, Red Bull Racing was sponsored by Infiniti who made a powerful SUV for him. It came exclusively in white, was impressively fast for an SUV, and came with F1-inspired embellishments including a rear wing. Only 200 were made and if you're lucky enough to find one on the used market, you can snag it for around $20,000.

5. Subaru Impreza WRX STI RB320

The Subaru Impreza WRX STI RB320 was made in memory of World Rally Champion Richard Burns who passed away due to a brain tumor in 2004. It was exclusively available in black and came with a more powerful engine and lower suspension. Only 320 were made and they sell for around $25,000.

6. Toyota GT86 Hakone

The 2020 Hakone Edition was made specially in honor of the scenic Hakone Turnpike in Japan. It features a forest green exterior, bronze wheels, tan leather interior, manual transmission, and a 200-horsepower engine. Only 1,025 units were ever made and they can be found for around $20,000.

7. Chevrolet Monte Carlo Dale Earnhardt Jr. Edition

The Chevrolet Monte Carlo Dale Earnhardt Jr. Edition is a limited-production tribute to NASCAR icon Dale Earnhardt Jr. It's equipped with a 240 horsepower engine, a custom gauge cluster, #8 decals, the driver's signature, and chrome wheels. Only 2,883 units were produced and you can find high-mileage versions on the used market for around $8,000.

8. Pontiac Solstice GXP Coupe

The Pontiac Solstice GXP was designed to compete with other affordable sports cars of the era like the Mazda Miata and Honda S2000. It was praised for its agility, power, and responsiveness. Only 781 of the coupe version were produced and as they're more rare, they fetch up to $35,000, but you can get non-coupe GXPs for around $12,000.

9. Volkswagen Golf R32

The Golf R32, equipped with a high-performance VR6 engine and all-wheel-drive, has become a highly sought-after collector's item. Only 5,000 units were produced and the average price is around $17,000.

10. Mazda Miata 35th Anniversary Edition

The Miata quickly became one of the most beloved tiny sports cars by enthusiasts when it was first introduced in 1989. 2025's 35th-anniversary edition pays proper homage to the original, combining the dynamic driving experience that Miatas are known for with some modern luxury features and special touches like alloy wheels, tan leather upholstery, and metallic red body. Production is limited to 300 units and you can get one brand new for around $36,000.
