While plenty of women can appreciate a nice car, drawing too much attention to it just makes you seem superficial. Besides, the right woman will be attracted by your personality, not your car, and certainly not you talking about your car’s specs while you’re out to dinner. Lots of men modify their exhausts because to them, it sounds like a jaguar roaring. To most women, however, it sounds like an aggravating rattle that they have to shout over to have a conversation, which is a great way to ruin the vibe of a date. What seems cool and muscular to you is a romance killer to her. 

Driving aggressively

Women prefer men who have a protective instinct. While you don’t need to drive like a grandpa, aggressive tactics like accelerating and braking quickly, running speed limits, and failing to use your turning signal make her feel unsafe. Instead, drive safely to foster a sense of comfort and trust.

Men love talking about their cars, but keep these talks for the boys. Unless she’s a gearhead herself, she probably doesn’t care about your engine’s specs. She’ll just end up smiling and nodding, waiting for you to finish your sentence so she can change the subject. A conversation is a two-way street, and while it’s nice to share your passion, you also need to be considerate and avoid monopolizing it.
