Well-known brands have made China a critical part of their production map, and more of what you thought came from elsewhere came from Chinese soil. 1. BMW 3 & 5 Series
BMW's Shenyang plant has been assembling the 3 and 5 Series since 2003, churning out over 100,000 units a year. In 2022, it introduced a dedicated EV production line. This site also marked history as BMW took a 75% JV stake—first for a foreign automaker.
2. Mini Cooper SE J01
